Owner and Operator

Kelley can always be found with her nose in a book and cup of tea nearby. She and her husband live in the beautiful Caldwell countryside with their three active boys. As a military spouse, she has supported her husband's military career for over 15 years as he's served in the United States Marine Corps and Army National Guard. They have experienced many moves across states, deployments, and friendships around the world. In her free time, she loves to go for long walks, lift weights, drink boba tea, go paddleboarding, fishing, reading, and watching football with her family.

Her children were born at home with the support of midwives. Her experiences were so transformational, she knew it was her calling to become a midwife too. She has faithfully served the families in the Treasure Valley, Idaho since 2021. 

Living in a more rural area herself, she experienced firsthand how many families have long distances to travel for prenatal care. This combined with the closure of many Labor and Delivery units in hospitals, she saw a need for a Midwife who serves her rural community. And thus, Desert Roots Midwifery was born!
